After another few years of giving up my work-life balance to a consulting job, I started reassessing which aspects of my life sparked joy and how I could curate my actions to focus more on those I wished to nurture.
I am lucky enough to have a partner who is just as enthusiastic about living a life not bound by societal norms and encourages me to take risks while enjoying life to the fullest. After spending an evening over a bottle of wine and jotting down napkin Punnett squares, my zoologist partner was in full support of me quitting my corporate job to pursue a path that would allow me to be the fuller and brighter version of myself.
The year of 2020 was spent asking questions, educating myself, and jumping headfirst into a community of mentors and like-minded folk who were all equally passionate about breeding and raising dogs based on both nature and nurture. Backed with the support and knowledge of a community, I felt ready to bring to life our current program, Hello Lily.
